On 7th October 2026, the India Association HK Committee members met with the Indian Ambassador to China, Mr. Vikram Doraiswami, at the Indian Consulate, together with the Consul General of India, Mr. Rajesh Naik, and his colleagues.
A delegation of The India Association Hong Kong consisting of President Vishal Melwani, Ex Officio Mohan Chugani, Vice President Richard Albuquerque, Hon Treasurer Arun Nigam and Committee Member Vinita Turakhia had a productive meeting today with the recently appointed Ambassador of India to the PRC, His Excellency Mr Vikram K Doraiswami, the Consul-General to Hong Kong, Mr Rajesh Naik and their colleagues. We briefed them on the activities of the Association, and discussed both issues faced and opportunities available to the Indian community in Hong Kong.
